Mark Raidpere

Mark Raidpere (1975) has been active in the field of photography and video art for the past 10 years, which includes representing Estonia at the Venice Biennale in 2005. The focus of his work has changed and expanded over time. After the traumatic and detailed examination of himself and his family history the artist's horizon has expanded and his stance has become more distanced. Nevertheless, Raidpere's work still carries shifts and conflicts between the poetic and pragmatic, figurative and physical, role perception and reality.
