Susanne Gottberg

Born 1964 in Tammisaari, lives in Helsinki.

The first thing we notice about Gottberg's paintings is her ability to use pictures to investigate the problematics of the viewpoint and of seeing. Reflections, stratification and transparency serve as metaphors for the artist's experience of her own internal reality.

In her poetically beautiful way, Gottberg reveals what she thinks about being human.
